Yes, our Orthopedic Memory Foam Pillow comes with a removable, machine-washable pillowcase, however feel free to wrap another pillowcase as long as it is large enough. The contour function will still be there.
Our pillow is vacuum-sealed straight after manufacturing to keep it fresh and protected during delivery. Once opened, it will begin expanding immediately and typically reaches its full shape within about an hour.
If you’d like to speed things up, give the pillow a gentle nudge or light massage where it expands slowly to help the foam loosen and settle into its natural form. After this, it’s ready to use and will continue to feel even better over the next day as the foam fully relaxes.

The key difference between our pillow sizes is height. Since everyone’s body and sleep style are a little different, the best way to find your fit is to check your current pillow.
Lay on it as you normally would and have someone take a side photo — if your neck and spine form a straight line, your pillow height is likely close to ideal. If your head tilts up or down, you may need a different height for proper alignment.

The pillow comes with a removable, machine-washable cover. Simply unzip the cover and wash it with cold water below 30 degrees. The memory foam core should not be washed; instead, spot clean with a damp cloth if necessary.
Yes, but we recommend allowing the pillow to air out for a few minus after unboxing to let it fully expand and any initial odor to dissipate.
For optimal hygiene, we recommend washing the pillow cover every few weeks and replacing it annually or as needed.
Yes, you can use any pillowcase that fits the dimensions of your Serene Island pillow (usually requires Queen+), though we recommend using our custom covers for the best fit and comfort.
